Codification systems are in use since mankind started to write. If we do not consider cave paintings, writing is the first form of codification. Throughout history, codification systems have been used to encrypt messages or efficiently identify products or organizational units, especially in the military field. Codification System Organization is collecting relevant proof of codification systems established during history. Currently, this activity is carried on by volunteers which are investigating supporter recommendations. Once we will collect enough information we will publish our work.
